The short version
- InsuraVault is a place to store and organise the insurance policies you already hold. We are not an insurer, broker or intermediary, and we don't give advice.
- Reminders are a helpful nudge, not a guarantee. Keep your insurer's own notices and pay your premiums on time.
- What you add is yours. You are responsible for its accuracy and for who you share it with.
- InsuraVault is free today. If that ever changes, we will tell you in advance.
- These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
1. Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Service (the “terms”) govern your use of InsuraVault — the Android app, the customer web portal and this website (together, the “service”) — provided by Manne IT Solutions Private Limited, Hyderabad, Telangana, India (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.
2. Who can use InsuraVault
You must be 18 or over, and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law, to create an account.
Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
3. What InsuraVault is — and isn't
InsuraVault is a place to store and organise your insurance policies, your family's cover, your premium records and your policy documents, to be reminded before premiums are due, and to share policies with people you choose.
4. Reminders
We email reminders before premium due dates, based on the dates you or your agent entered. We send them on a best-effort basis: an email can be delayed, filtered as spam, or not delivered, and a reminder is only as accurate as the dates behind it.
Reminders are not a guarantee against a missed premium or a lapsed policy. You remain responsible for paying your premiums on time. Keep the notices your insurer sends you, and check grace periods and renewal terms with your insurer.
5. What you add and what you share
- Accuracy. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter — policy details, dates, amounts and documents.
- Other people's details. Only add details about family members, policy holders or others if you are entitled to, and let them know.
- Sharing. You decide what you share and with whom. Someone you give edit access can change the shared policy, so share with care and review who has access.
6. Your content and the licence you give us
Everything you add — details, documents and files (“your content”) — stays yours. We don't claim ownership of it.
You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to provide, secure and support the service for you and for the people you choose to share with. The licence ends when your content is deleted, apart from copies that remain in backups for the period set out in our Privacy Policy.
The service itself — the app, the software, the InsuraVault name and logo — belongs to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it in line with these terms.
7. Agents and insurers who manage policies for you
If your agent or insurer uses InsuraVault, they can create your account, add and manage policies and premium records for you, and invite you by email to see them.
They are responsible for the accuracy of what they add, and for their own advice and services. They are not our agents, and any information or recommendation they give you through the service comes from them, not from us. If something they added looks wrong, raise it with them or with us.
8. Acceptable use
When you use the service, you agree not to:
- break the law, or use the service for fraud;
- upload anything you have no right to, or anything containing malware;
- access, or try to access, another person's account or data without permission;
- probe, scan or test the service's security, or reverse-engineer it, except as the law allows;
- overload, disrupt or interfere with the service, or collect data from it by automated means;
- use sharing or invitations to spam or harass anyone, or impersonate someone else.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service available, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free — for example, during maintenance. We may change, add or remove features; if we remove something significant, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Keep your own copies of important documents. You can export your data at any time.
10. Fees
InsuraVault is free to use today. If we introduce fees for any part of the service, we will tell you in advance, before any fee applies, and you can decide whether to continue.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if your use puts the service or other people at risk, or if the law requires it. Where the law and circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
When an account is closed, your data is handled as our Privacy Policy describes. The sections on your content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don't promise that information entered by you or your agent is accurate or complete, or that every reminder will arrive.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a missed premium, a lapsed policy, a rejected claim, or inaccurate information entered by you or by others.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for InsuraVault in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for fraud.
14. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you agree to compensate us for losses and reasonable costs arising from claims by others that result from your breach of these terms, from content you had no right to upload or share, or from your misuse of the service.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any right you have to approach a consumer commission, the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or the service.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@insuravault.cloud — most problems are quickest to fix that way.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date and version at the top show which version you are reading. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you continue to use the service after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
17. General
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not need a signature.
